MULTI-AWARD WINNER

When you consider that much of my working life is spent on my own, in my home office, you’ll know how exciting it is when your efforts are acknowledged. To be a multi-award winner over the past four years is pretty humbling. Recently, I received notification that I’d been recognised in two separate awards: 

Australian Wedding Industry Awards 2026:

🏆 #1 WINNER CIVIL MARRIAGE CELEBRANT – TWEED COAST & BYRON BAY

This is in addition to my previous wins as 🏆Top 3 – 2025, 🏆#2 Highly Commended – 2024 and 🏆#2 Highly Commended – 2023.

The process involves:

i) Social media outreach targeting newlyweds married within the past 12–18 months

ii) Email notifications to businesses on the AWI database (nomination was not something I initiated)

iii) Regional social media announcements

iv) Platform validation and filtering.

Voting is conducted via a verified digital platform called Shortstack.com using layered validation systems. A minimum of three businesses must be nominated per vote (five are preferred). Points are allocated as follows:

  • First Choice – 5 Points
  • Second Choice  – 4 Points
  • Third Choice – 3 Points
  • Fourth Choice – 2 Points
  • Fifth Choice – 1 Point

Businesses are not required to solicit votes or provide client data. Recognition is based on customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Quality Business Awards 2026:

🏆 The Best Marriage Celebrant in Lismore NSW

This is in addition to my previous wins as the Best Marriage Celebrant in Lismore NSW for 🏆2025, 🏆2024 and 🏆2023.
To be awarded recognition in the Quality Business Awards, a business must have achieved an exceptional 95%+ quality rating. It’s interesting to note that less than 1% of registered Australian businesses earn this prestigious recognition.
Nationwide, 10,000+ businesses were evaluated. The process involves:
i) Nomination (something I did not initiate)
ii) Algorithm analysis
iii) Expert review
iv) Award notification.

I always try my best to deliver a beautiful ceremony and exceptional service but when I receive Reviews, or when I’ve been fortunate enough to have been acknowledged with an award, it endorses all the hours I devote to what I love doing.

When you consider all the other celebrants in my area, to again be a multi-award winner only encourages me to keep writing and delivering the best ceremonies I can and provide exceptional customer service to my couples.
